The portal had been opened, and the dark creatures took advantage of it. The Thirecats fled, leaping through portals or flying away, and those who did not were captured or killed. Elycien stood strong. The Rauqils and Gaelasin swarmed around her, and the other Thirecats saw the Shadowcat as a beacon of hope. As they drove away the creatures into their home world, Elycien looked at the destruction. It would take a long time to rebuild their heritage. A long time... but it would be worth it.
